It is to divide you and your family through unforgiveness, disappointments, resentments, hurts, and unresolved issues, from your past to the present. He wants situations to come up over and over again, that are like the ones of the past, and expand on them to create more and more hurts so your heart is hardened, your bitter pool or root gets bigger and bigger, you trust less and less, and there by will not take a chance of your love being rejected, or heart hurt anymore because you don’t think you could stand it again. So you don’t risk anymore you just go though the motions (faking it). You try your best to contain your emotions, because the hurt is too much, yet you seem at times not to be able to stop your anger or depression that come on so strong that does not fit the circumstance and you wonder why? Though you know your spouse loves you to some degree. You knew your spouse did really love when you got married, but now you wonder why two people who have committed to love each other have fallen from the mark. Why isn’t it more satisfying? What could be so wrong?
