I felt led to share with you a testimony about a good friend of mines mother. Her name was Olga, at the age of 9 she was orphaned and separated from her 8 brothers and sisters during the days of Hitler and Nazi Germany. Olga was born in the Country of Hungry and eventually made it to the USA.
She accepted the Lord at a very early age and eventually was married and had a family. Olga read her Bible and truly loved the Lord. She read her bible every day and prayed and witnessed. She was a great woman of God and well respected in the Assembly of God Church. Well years of running alone and facing starvation and really just the overwhelming fear of not knowing what was going on at such an early age she became extremely fearful and developed Paranoid Schzonphia, as a Born again Christian she also develop years later sever breast cancer that spread into her spine, ribs and lymph nodes. She took a fall at my friends home and broke her back, not because she tripped or stumbled but because her spine just gave out due to her deteriorating bones caused by the cancer. Thankfully she did not become paralyzed however during her life she began to trust no one and often thought her loving husband and own son was out to kill her or poison her. She began talking to herself and taking heavy duty anti-psychotic drugs and large doses of Morphine because at this point she was diagnosed with terminal cancer and 3 doctors documented that their was nothing modern science could do, that the cancer was growing and spreading and that she had approx 1 month to live. Well before this time her son who was NOT saved and was a big big drug dealer, had about 13 rental houses, a restaurant, cars, motorcycles, money, guns, drugs, power, and lots of women in his life. He had everything most of the world would want but he didn’t have the Lord. As a teen he spent time as a young kid in prison for attempted murder and several other crimes. He rode Harleys and had tattoos all over. He hung out with a pretty rough crowd. Anyway with all his “success” he found himself down and out with a loaded gun about ready to kill himself. He grab a Bible and said “God if your real you better show yourself to me, The Lord spoke to Larry that day and Larry accepted the Lord. Now he was a born again Christian and his “friends” really freaked out at the transformation. Even years later some would tell me, man dude you don’t know how crazy Larry used to be. I think most were kind of scared of Larry because he not only was a hard core drug dealer but he was pretty tough to take on. After awhile he became mad at God and said Lord why is my mom in such bad shape dying of a horrible disease after she did nothing but love you her entire life?, The Lord spoke to Larry that day and said, ” it isn’t me that has done this to your mother but it is the enemy”
A light went on in Larry and he began to see that every place he would read in the bible the Lord kept bringing him to scripture after scripture about casting demons out and the need for Christians to get deliverance. I happened to be in the Navy in Japan and Washington at the time and did not know Larry, but I knew his wife Tina. Well as the story goes I too got saved and happened to read a book called “The Bondage Breaker” by I knew about the demons and their plan on not only believers but non-believers. The Bible says, he comes to steal, kill and destroy but the Lord said “I haven’t given you a spirit of fear but power and of love and a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7
Olga sure didn’t have any of these.
I got out of the Navy and happen to run into Tina and she said she was a Christian now and her and her husband have Bible study on Monday nights and invited me over. I was happy to have found some Christians to hang out with since all of my old friends weren’t saved. I went there that Monday night and we began to share testimonies about how we came to accept The Lord. He explained the condition of his mom and asked if I could pray with him and cast demons out of her. I didn’t hesitate one second and said lets do it!!!
By this time Olga was on heavy heavy doses of morphine for her back pain, loaded up on anti-psychotic medications, was wearing a diaper, couldn’t walk, couldn’t feed herself and was in really really bad shape. Nurses would come daily, Larry called them the death squad, In fact the doctors at the hospital and even Olga and Larry’s own Pastor strongly suggested Larry not take her home because they said the cancer has so ate away at her spine that even the nurses were afraid to turn her over in the hospital for fear that her spine would crumble and she would be permanently paralyzed. Larry said I am taking her home anyway and the doctor said Larry you have to sign a release that the hospital would not be held responsible and asked Larry, ” how are you going to get her in your car when we here at the hospital are afraid to even turn her over in the bed? He said I am still taking her home; she’s the only family I have!!!!
She would always ask Larry, her son, when people would come over, she would say, in her broken English, “Larry, have you told your friends about the Lord Jesus Christ”?
Not to mention as I said above she was always reading her King James Bible and would always be praying. Before she became critical it was church twice on Sunday and also on Weds nights,,,,,every church function they had she was there, Every week. She attended the Assembly of God Church in Hammond/Hessville IN.
So here we are in her bedroom that Monday night, I think she was sleeping at the time and we began to quote scriptures about the blood of Jesus and that she was a child of God and all spirits of fear must loose her in Jesus name. Spirits of insanity, fear, infirmity, cancer, rejection, abandonment, etc to come out in Jesus name!!!!
She let out a horrible scream as if she was in a coal mine, or some cave, her knees folded up to her ears as she began screaming like mad moving like a snake, contorting in ways that was surely not human………remember the doctors said any sudden movement could cause paralysis’. Anyway we were a bit shocked and a little scared to say the least but continue to take authority over these demons in Jesus Name. They began coming out and after a short time she got
herself out of bed and walked to the bathroom and began throwing up. We continued casting demons out of her in Jesus name.
Sooooooooooo after much deliverance she was, walking again, no longer wore a diaper, could feed herself, was in her normal mind, and the best part about this story is NO CANCER.
Little Ms. Olga lived for something like 9 yrs after her deliverance and finally one day
told Larry it was time to go be with the Lord. She asked Larry to get her grandchildren and family to the house were she said her goodbyes and died in her sleep with a peace on her face that sunny afternoon. She was 77 yrs old.
